On Saturday, January 28th, at 11:12 AM. Varysburg Fire Department was dispatched for a reported Barn Fire at 2460 Orangeville Center Rd. in the Town of Orangeville. First fire units on the scene reported a working fire and requested additional assistance from Attica, North Java, Warsaw, Sheldon, Harris Corners, Strykersville, Alexander and Darien. PHOTOS

On Friday, January 6th., at around 9:35 PM Perry and Perry Center Fire Departments along with Perry EMS were dispatched to 7206 La Grange Rd in the Town of Perry for a reported structure fire. First arriving fire units encounter a fully involved barn and requested a second alarm bringing fire units from three county's to the scene.
Departments responding to the scene or to cover fire houses were: Perry, Perry Center, Castile, Wyoming, Warsaw, Wyoming Correctional, Leicester, Mount Morris, Nunda. PHOTOS

These are the firematic service details only. On Wednesday at 6:30pm, there will be a firemen's memorial. All attending firefighters are requested in full dress.
There will be a firemen's funeral on Thursday at 11:00am. Anyone wishing to attend a final salute is requested to line Main Street in Perry from Covington St. North to Gardeau St. to the fire hall. All attending requested in full dress. Apparatus and firefighters are welcome.

The firemen's service will be at the Eaton Watson Funeral home. 91 North Main St. in Perry

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of 43 year member, past chief and department treasurer Michael Laraby, and his wife Cindy. Along with being department treasurer, Michael was a driver training officer, and chairman of the truck committee, as well as sitting on numerous other committees. Cindy was a member of the Perry Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral details are still pending, and will be released as soon as they become available.

Tuesday October 25th Perry Fire Department conducted a controlled burn at 10 North Genesee St in the Village of Perry. The Departments recently delivered Pierce Rescue Pumper was on hand for members to get acquainted with the operation of the truck. PHOTOS
